yeah... mothers waiting for the first day of school, can be brutal sight. i'm just waiting through the nerves, with music and meditation. i can do this, they can do this. it'll be okay.
i'm going to feel much better, after tomorrow. it's just the night before that can kick my ass.
good luck mamas!
X, Heather

Good luck Heather and all the mamas out there.
ReplyDeleteWe've a week done already and I'm still a nervous Nellie. Good luck to you.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to every mama taking their chicks big and small back to school.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest started middle school today! Lily will start tomorrow it's flying by already.
ReplyDeleteHope your morning went well getting everyone ready and out the door! It'll get better when everyone has settled back into the school routine!
ReplyDeleteUmmm, hmmm...how to put this...I was never a nervous mother about the first day of school...well, maybe when they (3 of them) started kindergarten. Then, well the first day of school became my personal holiday. I even organized The Breakfast Club...a bunch of us went out to breakfast the first day of school...after we got the kids settled, and no crying allowed!!! I will say that the 4 years of high school are the fastest 4 years of your kids life. It seems they start 9th grade in August/September and graduate in June!!! Enjoy your time all you moms!!!
ReplyDeletexo!
ReplyDeleteI''m with ya! I'm always more nervous than they are! And with Colb being on the spectrum, I feel like my mama cat claws are always out and ready! Hope your kids are off to a great start!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's ok being nervous is good a thing. It means your human and you love your kids.
